Secret Beach

$58.00

A 8×10 print of an on-location painting during a family camping trip along the Northern California Coast in 2021.

My son's carsickness from the winding coastal highway led us to discovering this tucked away beach so we made sure to stop by it again on the way home. This was the final sketch from the trip. It's hard to make out, but the driftwood pile at the bottom was actually a great shelter you could enter from the other side.

Printed on archival velvet fine art paper. Matted behind 11×14 board (hooray, custom framing not required) and protected with backing board and crystal clear sleeve.

Note, if you are buying local from my showing at Cafe Uqbar, you have a few ways to get this print:

1 - Order here and have it shipped the old fashioned way (USPS) or select the “Local Pick Up” under Shipping. We can coordinate a pickup time at the Cafe, OR wait until the closing reception (TBD, approx end of May). I don’t recommend buying now and waiting til the reception though, because life happens and chances are the reception date won’t work and then we’ll need to figure out how to get the print over to you.

2- Visit Cousin Home on College Ave (near Ashby). It is the coziest loveliest shop that carries all my prints you see hanging in the cafe. They are the same price as advertised on my site. You’ll be supporting a local artist and local shop at the same time and not have to wait for your print. Win, win, and win.

3- As hinted earlier, you can wait until the end of the cafe show (TBD but projected toward the end of May), where there will be a reception, some Q&A with me in a room filled with art and nature loving people. You can wait to buy a print then, once the show’s date has been finalized. The option to buy one of the framed pieces off the wall will also be available.
